Amidst the vibrant spring scenery and rippling blue waters, the majestic north main tower of the Wuhan Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge is rising from the ground. Two XCMG XGT2230A-100S cranes are efficiently and accurately assembling the tower columns, accelerating the construction of the bridge’s north main tower.
With a main span of 1,430 meters and a designed height of 211.78 Meter, the Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge is the widest steel box girder suspension bridge currently under construction on the Yangtze River. Upon completion and opening to traffic, the bridge will effectively promote the integration of the Wuhan metropolitan area.
Zurzeit, two XCMG super-large tower cranes are constructing the 26th section of the bridge’s north main tower. The tower is rapidly growing at an average rate of 6 meters per week, reaching a height of 144.5 Meter. The efficient construction efficiency has earned high praise from customers.
