XCMG helps build Shanxi’s first high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour

Crossing steep slopes and cascading waterfalls, more than ten XCMG S1 series tower cranes stand tall on the eastern foothills of the Taihang Mountains, supporting the construction of the Xiongxin High-speed Railway.

The Xiongxin High-speed Railway is Shanxi Province’s first 350 km/h high-speed railway and a crucial component of the Beijing-Kunming Corridor, a key corridor within my country’s “Eight Horizontal and Eight Vertical” high-speed railway system.

Faced with complex and changing geological conditions along the line, a small working surface for bridge pier formwork, and a narrow construction area, the XGT6515-10S1, XGT6015-8S18, and XGT6013-6S1 cranes, with their precise and efficient lifting performance and safe and reliable product quality, have ensured nearly 200 days of trouble-free construction, efficiently advancing the project and laying the foundation for achieving the goal of completing all continuous beam closures in this section by the end of the year.
