Benefits of pipe jacking

1. The jacking tube has excellent electrical insulation.
2. The top tube has high thermal deformation temperature and low temperature impact performance.
3. The tensile and compressive performance of the jacking pipe is higher than that of HDPE.
4. The top pipe is light, smooth, with little friction and can be welded by hot-melt welding.
5. The long-term use temperature of the jacking pipe is -5~70℃.

What are the construction instructions for pipe jacking?

1. During the transportation and construction of the pipe, it is strictly forbidden to throw, hit, scratch and expose to the sun.
2. The axes of the two pipes should be aligned when hot-melting butt joints, and the end face cutting should be vertical and flat.
3. Adjust the processing temperature, time, pressure and weather conditions accordingly.
4. The smaller bending radius of the pipe should be greater than or equal to the outer diameter of the pipe.

What precautions should be taken when pipe jacking welding?

1. The misalignment of the pipe on the welding surface does not exceed 10% of the wall thickness of the pipe.
2. When the temperature is low, the heating temperature should be appropriately increased and the heat absorption time should be prolonged.
3. The heating pressure should be controlled in stages. The pressure is slightly larger during heating and smaller during heat absorption.
4. When the ambient temperature is lower than -5°C or in windy weather, thermal insulation and preventive measures should be taken. Otherwise, the welding quality will be seriously affected.
5. Pipe welding cannot be performed in rainy weather.
6. When the weld is cooled, it should be cooled naturally. When forced cooling is used, the welding quality of the pipe will be affected.
7. The surface of the heating plate and the pipe end should be cleaned with alcohol frequently to ensure that the surface of the heating plate is free from oil, water and impurities. The anti-stick layer on the surface of the heating plate should not be damaged. Before welding, use a clean cotton yarn or a rag to wipe the water, impurities and soil on the end of the pipe. The ends of welded pipes should be kept clean.
8. When there is water vapor on the end face of the pipe to be welded, before heating, use a heating plate to bake the end face of the pipe until the water vapor is completely evaporated, and then heat the pipe.
9. When cleaning the end face of the pipe, someone should supervise it to prevent the pipe from closing and hurting the hand.
10. When the wall thickness of the pipe is less than 6mm, the hot-melt butt joint is generally not used. Otherwise, it is difficult to ensure the quality of pipe welding.
11. Operators should be trained on the job.
