Before starting the trenchless drilling rig, the following preparations must be made to ensure the smooth progress of the construction:
1. Construction site detection: use detection instruments to find out the direction, depth and nature of the original underground pipe network, and make a mark;
2. Check that the oil level of the hydraulic oil tank should not be lower than 1/2 of the oil standard; add sufficient lubricating oil or grease according to the requirements of the lubricating part of the drilling rig.
3. Do a good job in the maintenance of the diesel engine, replace the three filters and oil regularly, and add antifreeze to the water radiator of the diesel engine and replace it regularly. Before starting the machine, check whether the diesel oil is full, whether the antifreeze is sufficient, whether the oil level is normal, and whether the battery electrolyte is sufficient. Make sure the diesel throttle is at idle.
4. Check whether each valve handle of the hydraulic system and all electronic control switches are in the neutral position, and whether the mud pump handle is in the neutral position.
5. Confirm the normal operation of the guide instrument, whether the battery power of the instrument and probe is sufficient, and the accuracy of positioning and orientation information (depth, top angle and inclination angle).
Before oriented construction, pay attention to the following tips:
1. The first is the accuracy of the probe work
Taking the widely used DCI instrument as an example, the 3-meter calibration is to give the probe a 3-meter reference, and all subsequent measurement data are based on this value, so it is necessary to ensure the accuracy of the 3-meter calibration. The probe rod is installed in the probe chamber and calibrated together with the pilot drill bit, and the surrounding environmental disturbance is as small as possible. Probes calibrated in this way have higher measurement accuracy.
2. Inspection along the drilling line
It is very helpful for the construction to use the receiver to check the environmental interference along the drilling route without installing the probe. For example, it is proved in advance that the interference value is very large at 150 meters, and the interference decreases after 160 meters, so the experienced construction personnel The hole will be drilled to the specified depth before 150 meters, and the drilling angle will be adjusted. When the environmental interference occurs at another 150 meters, so that the receiver cannot receive the signal from the probe normally, the only rotary drill is used without deflection. The method of drilling is used, and the normal drilling will be carried out when the receiver can obtain the signal again after drilling through 160 meters.
3. Is the construction impossible when the receiver only has signal strength?
In some construction, due to exceeding the sounding distance of the probe, or due to surrounding interference, sometimes there is only signal strength on the receiver, but no parameters such as clock face and inclination angle. Will it be impossible to construct at this time? In fact, experienced construction personnel will roughly judge the position of the probe according to the peak and valley values ​​of the signal, compare it with the drilling axis to see if there is any deviation, and gradually restore normal signal transmission through subsequent operations such as reducing the depth. receive status.
4. When using mud, please remove the mud in the drill pipe first. If there is mud left in the drill pipe, it is easy to cut the outer sheath of the wire under the driving of the high-speed mud and cause the probe to burn.
5. Some details in wired-oriented construction
In wire-guided construction, the middle wire is very important. In trenchless construction, we generally use 6 square wires. The wires on the market generally have 19-core hard wires and 100-core soft wires. We should choose soft wire for construction.
In addition, whether the purchased wire can meet the construction needs, we should test the availability of the wire nearby when purchasing, because the eddy current effect of the coiled wire will greatly reduce the current conductivity, so if the construction distance exceeds 1000 meters, then test The wires must be connected in series with 5 coils of wire (100 meters per coil). If there is a signal display, it proves that the wire is available. If it is not displayed normally, please buy a new wire as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary losses.
In addition, the protection requirements for the wire are also very high. The first is the waterproofing of the wire joints. Please use a heat shrinkable tube with hot melt adhesive to prevent the mud from entering the probe and burning the probe. It is recommended to increase the wire every 200 meters during long-distance construction. Card, because the long-distance construction drill pipe rotates in the hole, the wire will also keep rotating in the drill pipe, and it is easy to get off the card and the accident of wire breakage.
